EARTHKEEPERS
I was on the leading edge of green design when I worked on Timberland’s Earthkeepers team, where we focused on reducing our carbon footprint through materials and make. That work was intensely gratifying and it’s been something I have wanted to get back to. Earthkeepers Rugged WP, EK Cupsole, EK City Adventure are just a few of the programs I had worked on for this category.
SENSORFLEX
Timberland’s patented comfort system which has been used on many successful programs since its creation. In addition to assisting on the concept and creating the design language, I also helped create 3 programs that used the technology - Harborside, Britton Hill, Roslindale and Westmore.
ABINGTON COLLECTION / FW13 - SS15
I was fortunate to be able to work on one of the pinnacle programs for Timberland for 5 seasons. As the only designer on a three person team, I was responsible for all of the initial mood, color, material, outsole and upper work. All of these collections were inspired by the historical blue collared laborers of New England. The marketing and merchandizing did a beautiful job bringing these stories to the marketplace.
AEROCORE / #FLYROME
The last project I worked on at Timberland was to target sport specialty accounts. The concept was a hybrid of boot durability and sport functionality. The patented outsole compound and technology that I worked on, is still being used throughout Timberland and Timberland Pro today. I helped design and lead a team through this program.
